DARE (08-09 December 2022)---- The President of the Board of Directors of the Administration of Port’s Timor-Leste, Institute Public (APORTIL, I.P) held a two-day annual retreat with the general theme "Avaliacao Gestao é Desempeñu no Setor da Operacao Portuaria ém Timor-Leste" at the Centre Retiro de Dare da Arqui-Diocese de Dili.
During the Annual Retreat, the Organizing Committee created programmes such as each Directorate Presenting the Management and Performance of the Directorate's Services in the Port, reflecting on the work of one year, Mission and finally closing with an assessment of the discussion by the Board of Directors in the retreat.
The purpose of this retreat is to avoid some time from daily environmental activities in order to reflect on the achievement of the work done over a year and to reflect on the activities that have not yet been achieved to gather ideas on how to be achieved in the future.
Another goal of this retirement is to give forgiveness to one another while working together and pressuring one another over a year to love one another and to work together to bring institutions forward to serving the beloved country of Timor-Leste.
At the opening of the annual retirement, the President of the Council of Administration of the dose of Portos de Timor-Leste, the Institute of Public (APORTIL, I.P) Lamartinho de Oliveira, said, the Retirement is to reflect on the work points that have reached its goals and the points that have not yet been reached to continue next year.
“This day we are together in this place is very productive because according to the words of Pope Bento the 16th, Tempo Motato, Et Motato, It Iris” this word comes from Latin, which we are together here today, what we collect here, all here for what we see to improve in the future because of this retreat, to bring us together to appreciate ourselves and value each one and avoid ourselves from thinking about my work and also in this opportunity to make the staff know each other in a brief way,” said Mr. Lamartinho de Oliveira, in the speech of the President of the Administrative Council of Timor-Leste.
The President of the Council also informed that next year the Board of Directors will also improve the wages of staff because the staff working in APORTIL are not yet paid according to the Public Institutions standards.
APORTIL, I.P. has achieved a range of work to contribute to the country and the success of the contribution of all staff in accordance with their functions, which has not yet been achieved on the ground to continue next year.
The President of the Board of Directors also urged the staff to maintain a good environment in APORTIL, I.P. in order to work together to ⁇ the dreams that APORTIL has.
At the same time, the priests also reflected on “Friendly” and “Metanoia or
repentance” linked to the theme “Together Serving a God and Working with Maximum Responsibility” that when performing the work they should be located and make honest and fair decisions so that no repentance may be found in the future.
This annual retreat in 2022, a Commission was created led by the Director of Human Resources (RH) Mr. Jóse da Conceinção da Costa together with the Head of Planning Department including staff from the Directorate of Infrastructure.
The two-day retreat was attended by the President of the Board of Directors of the Administration of the Ports of Timor-Leste, Institute of Public (APORTIL, I.P) Mr. Lamartinho de Oliveira, Vogal II, Mr. Tito da Costa Freitas Moreira, Director of Directorate, Legal Advisor and all staff of APORTIL, I.P.
